Brief description of the program
Interior design means planning interior space – setting up a harmonious, ideal environment. The organization of internal space is the main goal for which a building is built, and principles of its construction determine responsible and important task of forming an interior.
A building by its essence of inner space expresses aesthetic views of society, and its material and technical capabilities. Despite general principles of planning, interiors of buildings differ in accordance with architectural fields. For example, the interior of a dwelling house creates a spatial environment associated with domestic processes; in public buildings a public (multifunctional) process is being conducted; in industrial institutions a spatial environment is related to production processes.
Projection of interior design comes from the result of a logical creative process. Creating a modern interior means to respond to a number of requirements which organically combine a whole complex of tasks - functional, space-spatial, engineering-technical and artistic-aesthetic.
Solution of any problem takes place taking into account interrelations of all components. Everything should be carefully studied - movement schedule, sequence of spaces, aesthetic and psychological environment, natural and artificial lighting, inclusion of landscape elements and relationship between internal and external space (which significantly increases its aesthetic value). We can achieve a material-spatial structure of optimal regime only as a result of an integrated solution of all issues.
Achievements of science and technology in the field of building structures, building materials, construction engineering equipment give designers new opportunities to create a spatial structure - specific patterns of shape and scale, acoustics, lighting and colour resolution.
