Annotation of Bachelor’s Program:

The program includes creation of artistic wooden products and study of the constructive and technological processes necessary to create these items: woodcutting, woodworking, mosaic technologies, study of marquetry, types of facing, modern technologies, materials, fittings, glues. Furniture design is intended for residential apartments as well as public and administrative establishments. For better presentation of the course projects study of raster and 3D graphics is performed along with composition.
The program is focused on education of designers (specialists) of this field. Having general theoretical and practical knowledge gained within the program they will be able to work successfully in the field of artistic processing of wood and furniture design.
The program also includes the basic theoretical course of visual arts (drawing, painting, sculpture) as well as general theoretical courses of art history (history of the world art, history of Georgian art), digital technologies, general educational and special elective subjects.
