Prerequisite for admission to the program: The entrant must have bachelor's academic degree; he/she should have passed entrance examination of educational program of the Faculty of Visual arts in drawing and foreign language (level B2)

The Masters program “Theatrical Painting” follows the experience of the traditional Georgian academic school and European higher educational art institutions. It is focused on the study and analysis of the history of scenography, its specificity, technical and technological capabilities and artistic tools and methods necessary for their practical implementation. The program also involves research of dramatic materials, thorough study of the era, historical and cultural situation, architecture, interior and costume design reflected in them, and consequently, development and visualization of artistic concepts. In order to familiarize and integrate with the western cultural values, the program provides educational and creative practice in various theaters of Europe. The program is based on the harmonious synthesis of knowledge and experience acquired by TSAA, as well as similar educational programs of various European art universities.
The development of the master's program was conditioned by the growing need for specialists in domestic and European theaters and show business industry.
