Annotation:
The medieval Georgian art master’s program will prepare qualified researchers of medieval visual arts - architecture, painting, sculpture, metal sculpture, embroidery, etc. The future masters will become more familiar with the existing information about the creativity of medieval Georgia, with the problems that are facing Georgian art criticism in this field.
The program implies that the master will expand understanding of methodology of history of art and will be prepare for future pedagogical and monuments protection activities. Particular emphasis is placed on developing and strengthening skills of identification of scientific issues and their consideration in an appropriate, wide, historic and the world art context.
The final result of the program is preparation of qualified historians of medieval art, with skills of independent research.

Coursework – 10 ECTS
Master’s thesis – 30 ECTS
