Students selection contest - Granada University, for TSAA Architecture faculty students

The contest is announced for the MA degree students of the TSAA Architecture faculty, for an Erasmus mobility at the Granada University, Spain, for the summer semester, 2024 (1 mobility place).

The application process requirements are the following:
· portfolio
· CV
· transcript of records
· motivation letter
· recommendation letter on behalf of the course leading professor
· English language certificate-Level B2, or reference, issued by the TSAA English language teacher

The noted above documents should be presented and the faculty Board.

The applicants should consider the following:
- before applying, the student should carefully read the Erasmus guide, following the link https://old.art.edu.ge/acgeo/index.php?newsid=1004
- The final selection is done by the TSAA's Erasmus partner university
- The Spanish D visa should be applied in Istanbul
- The accepted student is responsible to cover any expenses before departure and before getting the Erasmus grant on his/her arrival to Granada University

Plein Air ' Solar Palette of the East"

TSAA students of the Fine arts Faculty, Painting department - N. Khabelashvili, Kh. Mchedlishvili, E. Babini, took part in the nomadic plein air "Solar Palette of the East". The project was funded by the Fund ' Art Araba', the 'World festival of Epics of the Peoples of the World', and took places on various locations - petroglyphs of Cholpon-Ata, Karakol Mountains, "Broken Heart" by Zheti Oguz, Valley of Kaji-Saya, and created more than 300 etude works. The project participants, the young artists of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, also visited the orphanage "Iradze" in Karakol. Creative dialogue, exchange of experience and friendship were one of the main issues of the plein air.

Visit from AFAD, Bratislava, Erasmus+

19-23 June, the photography professor from Bratislava Academy of Fine arts and Design (AFAD), Dominika Jackulikova visited the TSAA Media arts Faculty and held the workshop for students, within the Erasmus+ program

1-6 July, the AFAD Erasmus coordinator Natália Šovčíková visited the TSAA International Relations Office, became aware of international projects and its structure, planned future cooperation projects within Erasmus + program

TSAA new Erasmus partner, Escuela de Arte de Oviedo, Spain

TSAA new Erasmus partner, Escuela de Arte de Oviedo, Spain 12-16 June, TSAA administrative staff Erasmus training mobility at the Escuela de Arte de Oviedo, Spain (founded in 1785) - Dr. Maya Kipiani, Head of International Relations Department and Erasmus Institutional Coordinator, The mobility aimed on becoming aware of the institution and International Office, meeting the Rector and professors, planning future exchange and joint projects within Erasmus+ program

Workshop for Fine art students, Bratislava Academy of Fine arts and Design, Erasmus+

21-26 May, Professors of Bratislava Academy of Fine arts and Design, Rastislav Sedlacik and Dominik Hlinka held the presentation and workshop for the students of the TSAA Fine arts Faculty. The project was realized within Erasmus+ staff exchange mobility program

Presentation: „Current positions of Slovak Painting, its specifics in the context of the Central Europe”;
Workshop: „Direction of Painting, focused on the painterly transcription of a genre motif using new/computing technologies”;
Besides, Tomáš Jančařík, the Head of Carrier and professional development center visit the Tbilisi State Academy of Art, and shared experience with the academy’s Carrier Service office
