Visit of Cultural Attaché of the US Embassy to Georgia Mr. Julius Cai
26 November, the new Cultural Attaché of the US Embassy to Georgia Mr. Julius Cai visited the Tbilisi State Academy of Art and met the Rector, professor George Gugushvili, who spoke about the years long successful collaboration of the TSAA with the US Embassy, the further cooperation perspectives and negotiated on details of the future collaboration projects and initiatives. The Rector expressed special gratitude to the former Cultural Attaché Damien Wampler and mentioned those significant projects, realized under his support. On behalf of the US Embassy to Georgia, the meeting was attended by the project coordinators–T. Rtveliashvili and L. Gumberidze, and the Guest Specialist Tamara MC, and also, the Head of TSAA Rector’s office K. Nemsadze, the Head of TSAA Quality Assurance Department N. Gaganidze and the Senior specialist of the same department T. Shavgulidze.

9 November, the TSAA signed the Memorandum of cooperation with the University of Ostrava (
https://www.osu.eu/
). The MOU comprises the students and professors exchange project.
Project with University of Art in Belgrade.

Basing on the agreement on cooperation between the TSAA and the University of Arts in Belgrade, the TSSA group visited Belgrad and realised the project in two directions. First direction concerned educational exchange and the workshops: ‘Visual codes of contemporary sculpture’, leaded by Liza Epitashvili, teacher at the Department of Sculpture, Faculty of Fine art, and ‘Transformation’, leaded by Vakhtang Megrelishvili, professor of the Department of Graphics, Faculty of Fine art. .......
