Contest  for  TSAA Media art Faculty students - Summer Class at the Artevelde University of Applied Sciences, Belgium

2022 edition of our Summer Class in 3D Modeling and 3D Printing is announced,  20 June - 1 July 2022
It is organized by the Communication, Media & Design department of Artevelde University of Applied Sciences, and will be taking place on our
campus Kantienberg, in Ghent, Belgium.
A visit to the RapidPro fair in the Netherlands is part of the programme.

To be accepted to take part in this programme, we ask interested students to write a short motivation letter and CV, and to direct it to the faculty selection I stage.   After the TSAA Media art faculty nomination,  Tom Neuttiens will investigate all applications received. After May 16 the student will be informed  if he/she has been accepted to participate in the Summer Class 3D Modeling and Printing.

To convince your students to take part, we refer to some quotes of students who participated in earlier editions:

  • “A very nice experience to learn about 3D-modeling together with people from different countries.”
  • “Increased familiarity with 3D software and printers will enable me to help with the 3D lab and class at Ryerson”.
  • “Start up for new ideas to push Russian education into the new way of development in multimedia technology area”.
  • ” For me it was a great experience, new friends, and of course new knowledge”.

The participation fee is 150 euro. The student will also need to pay the additional costs for mobility: transport to, from and in Ghent/Belgium, your accommodation in Ghent, food, and all individual expenses.

With the  grant from the Belgium government Artevelde will reimburse a part of the travel and accommodation costs of students from partner institutions. Students will have to hand in invoices to prove their expenses. The amount of the reimbursement will depend on the number of foreign students and can amount up to 700 euro per participant.
