TSAA professors training mobility to AFAD, Bratislava, Slovakia, Erasmus+
14-19 May, TSAA professors were invited to Bratislava Academy of Fine arts and Design (AFAD) for taking part in the 2022/2023 academic year concluding exhibitions, within Erasmus+ staff exchange training mobility program. The professors: T. Kldiashvili, Vice-Rector, Head of Textile Design Department, M. Kipiani, Head of International Relations Department and Erasmus institutional coordinator, S. Skhirtladze, professor of the Fine arts faculty, E. Ckhutishvili, professor of the Fashion Design direction visited the AFAD’s arts and design studios, shared experience with the academic and administrative staff, planned the further cooperation and students exchange
US artist’s visit and workshop for the TSAA students
16 May, the US re-known artist McArthur Binion, based in Chicago, visited the Tbilisi State Academy of Art, and held the workshop for the TSAA students.
Dresden Plain Air – TSAA student winners
The TSAA Fine art Faculty students Nino Gogolidze and Mariam Eliava became the winners of the contest for participation in the Dresden Plain Air -Palais Sommer, the cultural-educational festival, that will be held in July, in Dresden, Germany. The winner students will create at works with the German artists, take part in various art activities and exhibition- Fama.Synchron and finally, take part in ‘Canaletto’ contest. The project was started in 2013, by the Georgian artist Aleko Adamia
TSAA participation in International Design Week, Graz, Austria, Erasmus+
8-12 May, the re-known Georgian contemporary artist, and TSAA guest professor Koka Ramishvili took part in the International Design Week, Graz, Austria (direction- sound, interaction, exhibition design, which was held at the FH Joanneum University of Applied Sciences, Graz, within the frames of Erasmus+ program and Design month of Graz, which was the Europe Culture Capital in 2003
TSAA participation in contemporary arts festival of Granada University, Erasmus+
2-6 May, TSAA professors of the Fine art Faculty’s Painting and Graphic arts departments took part in the contemporary arts festival of Granada University BAG.
