The TSAA’s experimental research laboratory 'Lurji Supra' (blue tablecloth) took part in the contest of UNESCO PARTICIPATION PROGRAMME for 2020-2021, became the winner and got funding for realization of the project ‘Traditional Blue Cloth for Developing Creative Industries’.
Project goal: Developing an important area of textile design handcraft, historical Georgian textile ‘Blue Table Cloth’ and the restoration techniques, preserving cultural heritage and supporting the creative industry development in Shida Kartli, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Pankisi, Dusheti, facilitating an employment in the regions, integrating the women living in the regions and the representatives of ethnic minorities.
